According to Government Emergency Ordinance No. 52/2016 on credit agreements for consumers for real estate, as well as for amending and completing Government Emergency Ordinance no.50 / 2010 on credit agreements for consumers entering into force on September 30, 2016, the activity of debt recovery can only be carried out by the entities registered by the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC).
